Good morning, beautiful people.

I wake up everyday and read a few morning affirmations to help set my intentions for the day. I first like to read this list of affirmations out loud to help me embody the meanings of the words using multiple senses. For example, saying "I'm grateful for another sparkly day" out loud will allow your mouth to speak it, your ears to hear it, your mind to process the information, then your heart to truly feel it. Then, I like to choose one affirmation to hold onto throughout the day to keep me inpsired, but not necessarily from this list. I recently downloaded the app Affirm Me and it has countless affirmations about health, self love, grief, fear, peace, and many other categories. You can even create your own personalized affirmations, too. If I'm feeling more anxious than normal,I'll choose one about fear such as "I let go of my fear of rejection". Then every time I feel anxious I'll repeat it to myself to keep myself grounded.

Every word we think or speak affects our bodies and in turn affects our lives. The more we think it, the more likely it'lll come to reality. Say positive words and positivity will overflow in your life. Say negative words and negativity will blur the beauty in your life. But that doesn't necessarily mean we have to repress our negative emotions and stay positive all the time. It's still crucial to let out any negative feelings that we have so it doesn't pile up inside our minds and cause a suffocating discomfort. Journaling is a great way to release the negative energy and thoughts. Stay tuned for a special post on the art of journaling where I'll explain how to truly release negative energy trapped inside you based on Dr. Sarno's mind-body medicine Research.

And remember, live beautifully and happily.

Warmly,

N.A.S.
