Classic Vanilla Cake

Ingredients

  • Cake

  • 4 eggs

  • 0.5 cup honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/8 cup orange juice

  • 1/8 cup vegan milk (I used unsweetened coconut milk)

  • 0.5 tsp baking soda

  • 1.5 cups almond flour

  • Pinch of salt

  • Cooking spray to oil the pan


Directions

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 ° F.

  2. Whisk honey and eggs in the wet ingredients bowl until its creamy.

  3. Add vanilla extract, vegan milk, orange juice, and baking soda.

  4. Mix in the almond flour until a velvety texture is reached.

  5. Spray the baking pan with cooking spray.

  6. Pour mixture into the pan until it reaches 1/3 of the pan's height.

  7. Place your pan in the oven for 25-30 minutes, depending on your oven.

  8. Place a tooth pick into the cake and when it comes out dry its ready to rest out. If it's still wet, keep it in the oven for 5-10 minutes while keeping an eye on it.

  9. Let the cake rest for 15 minutes.

  10. Flip the cake onto a plate to serve. Enjoy it with fruit and share with someone you love!
