Sometimes we're unsatisfied with many things around us even though there are people somewhere around the world who are praying for that same exact thing. When you lose something you never thought was so important in your life, it makes you appreciate the little blessings around you. Walking, breathing, sleeping, typing, and eating are all day to day activities that most people are habituated to and don't consider as blessings. You might take things for granted simply because you're so used to it being a normal part of your life, a given that everyone has. But when you lose that privilege in your life, you think about all the times you were unmindful of that blessing.

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, people throughout the world are experiencing challenges no one would have imagined would even exist: Global school closures, mandatory face mask policies, unemployment, increased social anxiety and stress, germaphobia, and don't forget the toilet paper shortage in the US!

Be grateful for every single beautiful part of your life because you never know if you'll still have it the next morning. Look at the list of blessings below and if you have one of these (yes just one!), then you're lucky. Take time to reflect and practice gratitude by being mindful of your blessing.

And remember, live beautifully and happily.

Warmly,

N.A.S.
