Let Your Cup Overflow with Love

Many times, you get so caught up in your daily routines that you feel so overwhelmed and don't have the energy or motivation to move on with the rest of your day. You become sluggish, angry, and exhausted because it's not about the grind, but, the consistency of your work. The quality of your life has a drastic impact on the quality of your work. That's why you need to go with quality instead of quantity.
Giving your body the self-love and self-care it needs nourishes the body with energy, happiness, growth, and motivation. Love yourself and your body by treating yourself in the same manner you treat your loved ones. If you had to take care of a little boy, you would make sure he got enough sleep, ate nourishing food, played with his toys, and engaged in physical activity. That way, you know your little boy is maintaining his health by getting the rest, energy, and fun his body needs. In the same manner, you need to check off the same list for yourself everyday, not just on the weekend or on pamper days.
Love yourself everyday by giving yourself at least thirty minutes of alone self-care time to let your body recharge from the long work day by unwinding and settling down. Most people think that self-care looks like putting a face mask, lighting a candle, and relaxing on your couch, but everyone's self-care is unique to their own mind, body, and soul. Treat yourself with what you love. It could be doing a short yoga video, eating a treat you were craving, watching your favorite show, playing your favorite video game, or taking a warm bubble bath.
Without self love and care, you barely fill your own cup with love so you have a hard time giving back to others. But when you fuel your own body with self love and care, you let your cup overflow so you can give back to everyone else that matters to you in your life.
